Evaluation.

The visual language project was interesting. it was a chance to independatly take on my own project. i intended to make a film and edit it in the time frame we had, but unfortantly that was not the case as due to technical difficulties with opposing formats(cameras etc.) some aspects of the film fell through.

however what i actually got i enjoyed workign with and it was good to work to narative for a change.

if i could go back and do this project differently i would definatly reconsider what i needed before i went out on shoot. i would also allow myself more time to shoot.

final edit for the film.

This is teh final edit of the openign scene of the film shot on canon 500d with 50mm 1:8 and edited in final cut pro.

Editing problems.

Unfortunately due to certain problems with the use of two different camera. there is too much of a sharp change between tape and DSLR. this affected the out come of the film which meant i was not able to complete the final thing.

im trying to make it look bleak and siister so i bumped up the contrast and dropped the saturation

storyboard complete

the storyboarding for the film is now finished, all actors and locations are ready for the shoot at the weekend. and everything is ready to go.
